Production Laborer
Gentueri Inc. works with laboratories to improve the quality of results and laboratory efficiency by advancing the collection, preservation, and processing of biological samples. Our innovative company is looking for problem solvers that have a desire to improve our world. We need multi-taskers that will work well in a team environment.
Position Summary:
The production technician is a part-time position that is expected to become full-time. It is responsible for producing products as assigned. This could include assembling kit, labeling products or packaging. These tasks will need to be performed by following standardized operating procedures (SOPs) and work orders as instructed. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will need to be worn at all times.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Precisely follow and enforce all relevant standard operating procedures for assembling and producing products as assigned by the production manager or lead.
- Ensure a quality product is produced in accordance with safety, environmental and health procedures, and regulations.
- Track and record inventory of materials used, and product produced.
- Report any concerns to management that are related to production workflow.
- Determine any improvements and cost controls to the production workflow and make recommendations to management.
- Ability to efficiently communicate and work with a team
- Employ aseptic techniques to ensure a clean work environment within production areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Ability to simultaneously handle a variety of tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good time management, communication, and planning skills
Physical requirements
- Ability to sit and/or stand for up to 8 hours and lift 40 pounds
